Christina Aguilera images
editI strongly suggest you read Wikipedia's fair use policy which is clear about what is not usable: "Pictures of people still alive, groups still active, and buildings still standing; provided that taking a new free picture as a replacement (which is almost always considered possible) would serve the same encyclopedic purpose as the non-free image. This includes non-free promotional images." Tabercil (talk) 13:53, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Problems with upload of File:Christina-aguilera.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Christina-aguilera.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. License tagging for File:Aguilera in 2002.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Aguilera in 2002.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Aguilera in 2002.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:Aguilera in 2002.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification
editHi. In Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful Tour, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Newcastle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:35, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Concerning your contribution, File:Palomafaith2010.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.flickr.com/photos/colinwhitephotography/4443515825/. As a copyright violation, File:Palomafaith2010.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. File:Palomafaith2010.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.
If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at File talk:Palomafaith2010.jpg and send an email with the message to permissions-en wikimedia.org. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While contributions are appreciated, Wikipedia must require all contributors to understand and comply with its copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. De728631 (talk) 22:12, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

January 2012
editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Gwen Stefani discography. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. You didn't answer my earlier question, so I'll ask again here. Following your long series of mystery edits to Gwen Stefani discography, there is still a Canadian reference missing. When are you going to fix that? — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 16:34, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Christina Aguilera discography
editAs stated in WP:DISCOGSTYLE when an album receives a standard and Latin certifications: " For an artist who has received both certifications, use whichever one results in the higher shipment number." Mi Reflejo was certified 6× Latin (600,000) which is higher than a standard gold (500,000). Reverting my edit without an explanation does not help your cause. Erick (talk) 19:40, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

References
editWhen you do citations and you want one citation for multiple items, you do not copy the entire citation template for that item again. What you do is you change <ref> into <ref name="[whatever]">, and when you want to use that particular citation again you use <ref name="[whatever]"/>. These are the changes I had to make to Fall to Grace.—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:31, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Christina Aguilera's seventh studio album, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Christina Aguilera. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 17:45, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Paloma Faith 30MLA.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:Paloma Faith 30MLA.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. editYour recent editing history at Christina Aguilera shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Bbb23 (talk) 20:10, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Your latest reversion includes the following edit summary: "it was uploded in april and hasnt been deleted and still not up for deletion, so stop saying likely because its not up for deletion, stop removin". Your contention that it is not "up for deletion" is false. The image has been nominated for deletion at Commons, which is reflected on the Wikipedia file page. Do not reinsert.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:13, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Genie in a Bottle, but we cannot accept original research. Otherwise, this is your opinion and does not belong in the article. Thanks. SummerPhD (talk) 23:09, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Aligning pictures
editSince you can't seem to understand on the actual article, I'll take time out of my day to explain to you why the pictures should not be touched. They should be aligned from right to left and so forth. Also, the picture of her hometown which is Staten Island is positioned in the section of her life in Pittsburgh, which shouldn't be there. Do me a favor and look at how the article looked prior to that picture. They were all positioned accordingly. Because of this new photo they need to be switched. Please let me know if you need any help comprehending what I said because I'm not sure how clear I can make myself. DeadSend4 (talk) 20:14, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
