Re-create a salted title

edit

Hi Mathivathan. Thanks for your request at WP:AN. It has come to my attention that the procedure for re-creating a salted article at WP:SALT is incorrect. The correct procedure is to either contact the protecting administrator, file a request at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, or use the deletion review process. Please note that as the page has been through a deletion discussion, a deletion review is not possible. Thank you David.moreno72 03:18, 26 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

@David.moreno72: He's been to WP:RFPP where I declined. Please see the next message. Cheers, -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 16:55, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello Mathivathan. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Mathivathan. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Mathivathan|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 16:55, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

You still have not responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying you may be blocked from editing. --Orange Mike | Talk 00:59, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Freshdesk draft

edit

Wikipedia is not the place to write about your company. You many NOT create articles about your company. Users that write about own company will have their article deleted and be blocked from editing. You may welcome to edit in other areas other then your company.

Your company draft has been listed for deletion. You welcome to comment on Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Freshdesk, but please don't blank, merge, or move it or remove MfD notice until is closed. Wikipedia have articles about company's but you don't get to write your own company. 2A02:C7F:9659:4500:6CA0:B3C4:772B:D888 (talk) 19:10, 9 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A request has been filed for the title of Freshdesk requesting that it be added to the title blacklist. This has been done because the article appears to be a recreation, under a different title, of an article which is itself currently protected against recreation. Please note that titles used to circumvent the protection policy are often given the same level of protection as the original title the author is trying to circumvent, or are added to the title blacklist.

If you feel that the topic of the article meets our notability guidelines, please request a deletion review or use a request for unprotection instead.

Please note that repeated recreation of an article against a consensus to delete is considered disruptive and grounds for a block. Thank you.

Thank you, this is a start but is not sufficient. WP:PAID requires that you provide links to your profiles on all sites where you "advertise, solicit or obtain paid Wikipedia-editing services" to fully comply with the policy. GSS💬 06:08, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
