Hi, I came across this researcher when looking at their book on the Calculus of Variations (which is generally highly regarded and has been very influential). The Whitehead Prize is really the premier prize for young mathematicians in the UK (widely regarded beyond) and as such should by itself satisfy Criterion 2 "The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level." of Wikipedia:Notability (academics) . Two ERC grants can also be considered as international prizes. There are also several references to this person in Wikipedia already, so this seems a reasonable addition. 83.105.23.56 (talk) 16:21, 25 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
