Proposed deletion of The Republican Outfitters

edit

The article The Republican Outfitters has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable business or location. While the events which took place at this location may have been notable, they do not lend notability to the place itself.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thomas Hunter

edit

I have extensively edited Thomas Hunter (Irish politician). Clearly you have been doing a great deal of research in this area, but it is not needed or appropriate to quote entire newspaper articles that only briefly mention Hunter. These may be cited, but pulling the full quote is unnecessary.

Also, since the article is about Hunter, the extra details about other happenings in the Irish independence movement may or may not be appropriate, but certainly a bare timeline of random facts is not encyclopedic. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:15, 11 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
