Stats in football players' infoboxes
editHi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes like you did in Gustavo Varela, please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter. Sourcing career stats table

- Okay, no problem. I thought that all the sources in the external links and the references already "confirm" this stats table so that an additional "reproof" to National Football Teams isn't necessary. - External links are not sufficient, we need inline references. Readers should be able to (easily) verify the content. See WP:Verify, specifically: "Additionally, quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by inline citations.".
- As far as I can tell, the source you mention in your edit summary here didn't exist in the article at all. I have added it since. Next time, please add it as a reference. Robby.is.on (talk) 08:52, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

- You're welcome. In my view, the German Wikipedia is behind in many areas, I don't like to edit there even though Germany is where I live. If that editor wants less cruft he should start with the ridiculous WP:Overlinking – the German Wikipedia still seems to link everything under the sun, including dates of birth. ;-) Robby.is.on (talk) 09:44, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

Capitalisation
editHi there, Matthias. I'm contacting you about the capitalisation issue at Maryan Bakalarczyk which is starting to annoy me.
The Manual of Style states: "Wikipedia uses sentence case for sentences, article titles, section titles, table headers, image captions, list entries (in most cases), and entries in infoboxes and similar templates, among other things. Any MoS guidance about the start of a sentence applies to items using sentence case." ([1]) Sentence case means "a mixed-case style in which the first word of the sentence is capitalised, as well as proper nouns and other words as required by a more specific rule." (Sentence case) Playing positions are not proper nouns.
