It says his punishment was 853 years but in the other place it says 1,853 years so which is it? MaxwellWinnie102 (talk) 20:46, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
- The source says 1,853. You changed it to 853. - Aoidh (talk) 23:54, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
No it says on the top and next to sentencing that it’s 853 years but lower it’s 1,853 years. MaxwellWinnie102 (talk) 01:46, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
I know I’m confused too. MaxwellWinnie102 (talk) 01:47, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- On your sponge edits, please discuss with other WikiProject editors before proceeding (if one of your edits is reverted, it is up to you to start a discussion per the WP:BRD policy - Boldly insert (you did that already) - Revert (that's happened too) - start Discussion and obtain consensus). It seems that the consensus (I recall similar issues of dating with other claimed finds of early fossils) is not to accept such controversial early dates until zoologists have reviewed the findings and agreed they are at least likely, i.e. we don't go on just one (primary) report but we wait for a (secondary) review article. Hope this makes sense. All the best and Happy Christmas, Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:41, 25 December 2021 (UTC)
