Terminology

Thanks for your edits. However, please WP:STICKTOSOURCE. We do not change terminology from LGBT to LGBTQ+ for the purposes of inclusion, especially when the sources are often only referring to same-sex couples. If it says LGBT in the source, say LGBT in-line. If it says same-sex parents, then say same sex parents. If it says LGBTQ parents, then you can say LGBTQ parents but only with that specific citation. There are a number of issues with that article; primarily reference to research that is only on same-sex couples and then Wikipedia editors saying this applies to "LGBTQ parents". The research cannot necessarily be extrapolated out to make claims about transgender parenting so it's better to stay accurate. Hope this helps! Zenomonoz (talk) 20:57, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
