Audrey Hepburn

edit

Howdy pardner! Got a reference for this: "Unable to fly on a commercial airline, Givenchy arranged to have Bunny Melon send her private jet (filled with flowers) to take Hepburn from California to Switzerland."

That'd be great, got'a feed the cows now! ~ WikiDon (talk) 04:24, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that, but the reason for the thought of sock puppetry had nothing what so ever to do with the "Bunny Melon" addition above. It had to do with the reverting of the image, that Reyn116 (talk · contribs) had just reverted twice. Because your addition was reverted (by Antique Rose) just after that contributor had reverted it two times before, you had the appearance of being User:Reyn116.
First change: 12:17, 29 May 2008 Reyn116 (reverted back: 12:48, 29 May 2008 Rossrs)
Second: 13:20, 29 May 2008 Reyn116 (reverted back: 13:35, 29 May 2008 Rossrs)
Your first edit: 03:46, 18 June 2008 Mcatch23 (reverted by 05:35, 18 June 2008 Antique Rose)
Third: 12:58, 18 June 2008 Adrian sasongko (reverted back by 13:15, 18 June 2008 MarnetteD)
Your re-addition: 22:52, 18 June 2008 Mcatch23 (I fixed your reference: 23:27, 18 June 2008 WikiDon)
Fourth: 16:08, 21 June 2008 Reyn116 (my revert: 16:42, 21 June 2008 WikiDon)
If you look at the History tab it as the appearance, at a tired quick glance, that you two are working together. But I was tired and jumped the gun. I am sorry, my apologizes. ~ WikiDon (talk) 18:38, 22 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

No real worries...I was just shocked. Never heard of Sockpuppets. I only edit a few articles that I am passionate about and I am very concerned that the information be correct. I certainly would never be a part of some sockpuppet scheme.

All the best.

Wikipedia:Citing sources, tells you how to format your source correctly. Got'a mend a fence! ~ WikiDon (talk) 23:21, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Any style, and there are at least a dozen, is acceptable if it includes author, title, publisher, date, and page. The only caveat is that for each article the style should be consistent, which, on the AH article is not.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Audrey Hepburn. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. You have been given several suggestions on how to resolve this yet all you do is keep reentering the same unsourced info. You may be blocked if you persist with this. MarnetteD | Talk 00:14, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
