Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:David Weiss (author)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:David Weiss (author), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 06:27, 24 October 2018 (UTC)

Please help me with...My draft for submission, David Weiss (author) was deleted even after I submitted a reply as to why it should not be deleted. Now my reply to the deletion has been removed, as has the page. I wasn't able to make any edits as I was traveling in Italy without a computer. How can I recover the page in an attempt to re-write so it reads more "encyclopedic"? What phrases need to be added/removed to insure it reads as encyclopedic?

- You can contact the deleting administrator, RHaworth on their talk page and request that they email you the deleted content. Not all such requests will be honored (for instance, you probably won't get back a copy of a page deemed to have been a copyright violation). I'm not an admin, so I can't see the deleted draft and thus can't advise on what wording changes might make the submission more acceptable. It's really common to see puffery like "award-winning" or "bestseller" removed from drafts and enough of that sort of language can cause a draft to read as primarily promotional. It's really important to have independent, notability references that satisfy one or more of the criteria at NAUTHOR. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 16:38, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

Image without license
editThank you MifterBot. How does one use a logo in the public domain? I obviously didn't create the logo, there are other logos on wikipedia elsewhere. How does one use those? I can't find a tag for those. Mcatricala (talk) 20:07, 17 January 2020 (UTC)mcatricala
