A tag has been placed on BSA Supersport Air Rifle, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Action Jackson IV 11:14, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Do not remove speedy tags
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --Onorem 11:22, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. --Onorem 11:32, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- It does look like you have removed much of the questionable material. You still should not remove the speedy tag yourself. An administrator should remove it if there is no longer a problem. --Onorem 11:34, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
No personal attacks
editPlease see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.
- This edit is completely unacceptable. --Onorem 11:35, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- You remove the attack from the talk page and then make this edit? --Onorem 11:44, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Regarding edits to BSA Supersport Air Rifle
editThank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Mcmadkat! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule img[0-9]*\.imageshack\.us/img[0-9]*/.*\.jpg, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. editA tag has been placed on Image:Sowhatgirl- the engineer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article is a redundant (all pixels the same or scaled down) copy of Image:Sowhatgirl- the engineer, in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not Commons), and all inward links have been updated (CSD I1).
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on Image_talk:Sowhatgirl- the engineer. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
