Recent edits on Calvin Cheng

Hi. I noticed that you had made some edits on Calvin Cheng. It seems you reverted it to a version edited by a possible sockpuppet of an editor who was recently blocked for harassment. I have reverted it back to previous stable version which I had edited. However, since you had previously mentioned a section as WP:UNDUE, I have removed that particular section temporarily.  Lemongirl942 (talk) 10:04, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

@Lemongirl942: thanks for clearing this up. For reference, I don't object in whole to this being included, however the amount of the article devoted to this just seemed too much for me. Mdann52 (talk) 10:09, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Yup. I will add the content (since other editors wanted it to remain), but I will shorten it to 2-3 sentences. Thanks for the clarification.  Lemongirl942 (talk) 17:50, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

Can you add the suggestions to edit the NYU Tandon page on the NYU Tandon talk page rather on my talk page? Thanks. 2620:0:1003:0:75A9:524:F3AE:5C42 (talk) 20:51, 31 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi Mdann52, Apologies, I did not revert far enough. Thanks for taking care of the issue. - Ryk72 'c.s.n.s.' 11:16, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

DRN help needed and volunteer roll call

You are receiving this message because you have listed yourself on the list of volunteers at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/Volunteering#List of the DRN volunteers.

First, assistance is needed at DRN. We have recently closed a number of cases without any services being provided for lack of a volunteer willing to take the case. There are at least three cases awaiting a volunteer at this moment. Please consider taking one.

Second, this is a volunteer roll call. If you remain interested in helping at DRN and are willing to actively do so by taking at least one case (and seeing it through) or helping with administrative matters at least once per calendar month, please add your name to this roll call list. Individuals currently on the principal volunteer list who do not add their name on the roll call list will be removed from the principal volunteer list after June 30, 2016 unless the DRN Coordinator chooses to retain their name for the best interest of DRN or the encyclopedia. Individuals whose names are removed after June 30, 2016, should feel free to re-add their names to the principal volunteer list, but are respectfully requested not to do so unless they are willing to take part at DRN at least one time per month as noted above. No one is going to be monitoring to see if you live up to that commitment, but we respectfully ask that you either live up to it or remove your name from the principal volunteer list.

Regarding deleted discussion of a page called Param Singh

Hey User:Mdann52 A page called Param Singh was deleted again few days back I checked the deletion log and this discussion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Param_Singh_(2nd_nomination) had your name in the last so thought to ask you my questions. Mr. Param Singh is an Indian TV Actor who works for Channel V India. I am one of the members of his PR team, we tried creating the page again but someone again deleted it because it has been deleted before as well. Can you please help me how can we create a wiki page again with all the notability guidelines and without getting it deleted again. It would be great if you help. Thankyou. Regarding unexplained deletion

Mdann, could you explain why you deleted this question for the co-founder?

Suffice to say, I disagree vehemently with Charlie Smith. As is common for him, his loud-mouthed rhetoric serves the interests of Chinese censorship perfectly. By attacking the only people who care enough to do something, he makes it much harder for progress to be made. If I listened to him - and I don't - I could just stay home and not go to China to lobby for change.

But then a few months later...

Recently, I had the opportunity to meet with one of my personal heroes, Charlie Smith, who is one of the key people behind GreatFire. We had a lovely chat about his work, which I strongly support.
