I've requested semi-protection of your user page as it seems to be excessively vandalized. A8UDI 18:32, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! you didn't have to. :) At least the open proxy appears to be done. Cheers and thanks again, --Meaghan the vanilla twilight 18:37, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- did you see the poem?? lol A8UDI 18:39, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Would you like it unprotected? Considering the posted invitation: "If you are here to vandalise my page, please go right ahead", it appears you enjoy having it vandalized. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 18:50, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- No thanks; I didn't post it because I enjoy having it vandalised; it's intended as a warning saying that those who vandalise it will get a warning, and may be blocked. And I did see the poem; I removed it, but put a link to it. Cheers, --Meaghan the vanilla twilight 18:54, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Okay. I've just noticed that editors who have such statements and/or "vandalism counters" tend to be vandalised more often. One was to isolate it a bit would be to move your guestbook to a subpage, and transclude it on your userpage. Then your userpage could be semi-protected? Just an idea. I personally keep my userpage permanently semiprotected. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 18:22, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Identical recreation of a page recently deleted per the Criteria for speedy deletion
Do you think this would be a redundant criteria? It isn't uncommon to see a disruptive editor make copy and paste recreations of their recently deleted article per CSD. Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 02:29, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- I think it would be somewhat of a redundant criteria. If an editor recreates a previously speedily deleted page that was deleted as say, nonsense, and the second creation had the exact same content as the first one, it can just be deleted once again as nonsense. Cheers, --Meaghan the vanilla twilight 03:16, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- That's what I was thinking, oh well, just as well I didn't suggest it then. Regards, Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 03:19, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Coding help
Ahoy, do you happen to know if it would be possible to make it so that this templates cells only show if they're being used? Thanks, Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 21:04, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, this is possible. Do you want the entire row to disappear if any of the parameters are missing, or do you want each cell to be blank if the corresponding parameter is missing? TPS Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:58, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Just to appear blank. Feel free to go ahead and edit my sandbox. Appreciate it, Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 01:22, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- I made some edits, it is already the case that the cells are blank if the parameter is missing, so I am guess you don't want any entirely blank rows. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 01:27, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Pretty much, yeah, so how would I go about adding an extra line of parameters, every time I go to it seems to break the code. Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 02:04, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Try that. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 02:15, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Thank you, Plastikspork, for helping Jeff while I was away. Just a suggestion; if you want to be able to list an unlimited amount of roles, you may want to create a separate template to list the roles. The template would consist of this code:
|{{{year|}}} |{{{film|}}} |{{{role|}}} |{{{notes|}}} |-
To add the entire table to a page, you would add this:
{{User:Jeffrey Mall/SB}} {{Other template |year = 2000 |film = Film 1 |role = Role 1 |notes = Notes 1 }} {{Other template |year = 2001 |film = Film 2 |role = Role 2 |notes = Notes 2 }} |}
Cheers, and good luck with the template! --Meaghan the vanilla twilight 02:33, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

- Yes, I agree. In my opinion, you could use your code to improve {{ActingFilmography}}, which is the same idea, but not nearly as nicely formatted. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 03:17, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- That was the original idea to be honest with you, but I didn't expect to get so deep into coding this table, wouldn't it be a bit harsh if I totally scrubbed over the other table though? Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 03:22, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Right, no need to scrub over it. In fact, you could probably come up with a better name, like filmography header or film table header or film table start or something like that. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 03:37, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Merry Christmas!!
Once again it is festive season, a time where festive decorations are displayed and gifts are swapped; but what about the true meaning of christmas? The true meaning of christmas is about the fight for freedom and how in times of hardship and misery, one person leads their people to freedom as a great warrior; for those who fight for a cause are warriors and those who fight for a worthy cause are great warriors. Such an act earns respect and honour; but most importantly, brings happiness to their people. So to achieve this as happiness lies in other people's happiness and greatness lies in how you deal with little people, we selflessly think of others in the hope that they will be happy this christmas.
Hi Meaghan, have a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year 2010!

Red Star
I'm hard working, sure. I'm not so sure about the 'kind to others' part; even I admit I can be a jerk at times. HalfShadow 01:06, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Well, he was the one who personally attacked User:C.Fred, and you tried to help him out, so he really shouldn't hate you. For the upgrade stars, there really is no criteria set in stone. Sometimes I may give it to the one who I think has been the most helpful in the article space, the one that I think's the most civil, or the most-improved, and other similar reasons. Sometimes it can be a tough decision, and you may just have to go with your gut feeling of who's the most deserving. Cheers, --Meaghan - Merry Christmas! - 01:30, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
