Hi, I'm trying to improve an article I contributed to a while ago but I'm having problems with the books citation templates. I don't contribute very often, so I'm not used to it. I need help with this article Errol Francis, there are a lot of references to books in print and I'm struggling to refer to articles (often with multiple authors) within books (with multiple editors). I've tried using the citation template for books, but it doesn't display half the information I enter. I assume I'm doing something simple wrong. --Mediatoad (talk) 23:17, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- There are multiple possibilites:
- either use the old school way by using no template
- or the better one: use |first1=Foo|last1=bar|first2=Uncle|last2=Sam|first3....
- so you have multiple ways to do that ;) mabdul 00:29, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Thank you, I also used the parameters chapter & title, instead of work and title - now it displays properly. --Mediatoad (talk) 11:33, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
