Welcome!
editHello, Mef4232, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Well done
editI have Annie Londonderry on my watchlist, and I've just seen your substantial rewrite. Congratulations! Ask me if you want further help. Carbon Caryatid (talk) 12:22, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you! And I will. Mef4232 (talk)
- If you don't mind the suggestion, it would be appreciated if you could move your draft to a sandbox page. Your user page is a good place to introduce yourself to other editors. For example, the banner about your class project is great. But all the material about Annie Londonderry would go better somewhere tidied away, e.g. User:Mef4232/sandbox/Annie Londonderry. It's red because it doesn't exist yet, but you can bring it into being by copying across what is currently on your userpage. Some parts of Wikipedia are intuitive, and some ... aren't. Hope you don't mind the hint. Carbon Caryatid (talk) 20:58, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- That's really helpful! I put it on my user page when I got started because it seemed easiest, then while I was making edits, it didn't seem worth the hassle. Now that I'm done editing (at least for now), I'll make the move Mef4232 (talk) 15:49, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. For future reference, i.e. if you work on another article, it would be advisable to start another sandbox page. One for each item you're working on. Carbon Caryatid (talk) 17:57, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
