One more piece of the suffrage puzzle
Hi! I wrote the article about Lucy Robbins Messer Switzer today and wanted to share it with you because of all the work you've been doing connecting the dots regarding women's suffrage in the U.S. Lucy's husband #1 died in 1880 and so she joined her parents in Washington Territory at the end of the year. In 1881, Lucy established the women's suffrage movement in eastern Washington. Two years later, women in the Washington territory were granted full voting rights. Just wow, right?! --Rosiestep (talk) 16:15, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- That's so cool, Rosiestep! There were so many women involved in making women's suffrage happen. I really like finding out about new ones. :) Thank you so much for sharing! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 22:19, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
