Request reason:
I was just block by Krazilik for 72 hours. I wish to file a protest against this. I contributed valuable content to two articles. One being the Outer Banks article consisting of information on the seasonality of weather patterns on the Outer Banks due to it's geographical location as well as an external link to a site providing web cams of the Outer Banks. Both of this I feel are relevant and add quality to this particular article. Unfortunately, I got into a revert war with CutOffTies, as she feels that the external link qualifies as spam. However, this page serves as a good resource to wiki users to get a live view of a place they are interested in that they may not think to search for through traditional sources. Honestly though, isn't this what the spirit of Wikipedia is about? Discovery of resources on the Internet. The other article was about the Wright Brothers National Memorial. I added an external link directly to a web can pointing directly at this memorial. Which I feel is highly relevant and interesting. In the future, I will abstain from revert wars and redirect to a third party to either agree or disagree in the spirit of community. Therefore, I respectfully ask that my account be unbanned. Thank you for your time, Meikeric Meikeric (talk) 23:15, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
Decline reason:
It doesn't exactly take a detective to discover that someone who calls himself "meikeric" is the owner of outerbanks.net. --jpgordon::==( o ) 23:33, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
A point of reference
editAs your block has expired, you are now free to resume make useful contributions to Wikipedia. However if you add even one more link to your outerbanks.net web site, the next block you receive will no doubt be indefinite. As you yourself agreed back in March, the most you can do is suggest a link on an article's talk page. Regards, — Kralizec! (talk) 16:15, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
