editHello, I'm Joseph2302. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Amber Anning, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:02, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Josef I hope you saw my earlier reply. I am a journalist and Amber is my daughter. There were several factual errors in your otherwise great submissions, so I corrected them and added in a few bits of interesting info which have been documented elsewhere. Best wishes, Melanie Melanatural (talk) 19:35, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

editPlease do not add or change content, as you did at Amber Anning, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. When adding content, it must have reliable sources to accompany it Joseph2302 (talk) 08:39, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Joseph. I have aded in two citations. You have incorrectly changed other information about Amber, who is my daughter. I am not sure where you got the info from about her All Amercians but it was wrong and I have updated. Please check her results in detail for your peace of mind via TFRRS. In 2020 al athletes who qualified for the Covid cancelled NCAA indoor champs were given all American Hoonours. Amber also has an additional three Second team All-Americans but I have not added these back in. HartBrown Melanatural 08:33, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Amber Anning. For the last time, Wikipedia follows what reliable sources say. Don't just change 5 to 9 here because you think/ "know" it's correct, that's original research which is not allowed. The source clearly says 5. Joseph2302 (talk) 08:38, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

- Hello Joseph I only add in correct information. Unfortunately the some of the changes yu have made are wrong.
- I am also a journalist so am not intending to publish anything that is factually incorrect. I have made several changes which yu have just overridden. I will do these again when I have time. Amber has 12 not 5 All American honors. If you look at her TFrrs page ypu can confrm for yourself and include tje two given in Covid year. I have added in relevant facts whiich I see in other biogs, such as she went to LSU to study, not just run in the track team. These nuances are relevant. She is also academically accomplished, so this is reflected, with citations. When ypu next view my edits, please follow the links so ypu can see the info is backed up. - Any information you add must be supported by sources. Please propose changes here or on the article talk page before making them so that we can help you. You will be blocked from editing the article if you continue to edit it in the same fashion. ⇌ Jake Wartenberg 14:30, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
