Access to US Adoption Records
editThank you for contributing the article Access to US Adoption Records. You've made a good start, but it's not quite ready to be an article yet, so I've moved it back to your userspace and you can find and edit it at User:MelanieChristy/Access to US Adoption Records.
Have a look at Editing Wikipedia, our short guide for student editors. Articles should reflect the format described starting on page 7, especially the part about the lead section which summarizes the article.
Your section titled "Stories" is well-written and sourced, but while personal anecdotes such as these provide great color for news articles, they are not appropriate for an encyclopedia article. It is appropriate to mention famous or notable individuals and incidents in an encyclopedia article, but not personal stories as examples.
You have cited some excellent sources but I noticed you have repeated several sources in different footnotes. Instead of repeating the entire citation for each footnote, you can have different footnotes point to the same source citation. Our module about Sources and Citations will show you how to use the Cite gadget to reuse a reference with only a couple of clicks.

Nomination of Access to US Adoption Records for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Access to US Adoption Records is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Access to US Adoption Records until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
