Be totally honest, are you the user that edited as Sulmues? Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 18:18, 8 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome back from me also. It's always a pleasure to have good-faith editors. Obviously some of my activity may be influential in seeing your return but I was happy enough for you to remain an editor anyhow. Just to let you know, regardless of anything you may consider negative from my editing, I will be pleased to discuss absolutely every subject with you from start to finish. I have every certainty we will find a way through any disagreements. If you wish, you can even raise your points here, I'll keep an eye on this section for the time being. Thanks. Good to see you again. As national monuments yeah they meet notability but by no means is it "inherent". I'm not a mass stub builder as I used to be. It would be best to create them one at a time I think.♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:37, 8 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

On Haxhi Qamili

edit

You linked to Peasant Revolt in Albania, but that only goes up to October 1914. Qamili led a related but still distinct revolt against the Muslim landowner-based Toptani government, whereas the original peasant revolt was against what Albanian Muslim peasants perceived as a foreign, Christian ruler (Prince Wied.) --Mrdie (talk) 04:24, 9 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

So...

Since you seem to trust me writing articles on modern Albanian subjects, I'll give you a choice of what article I should make next with my myriad of sources: one on the Soviet-Albanian split, or one of the Sino-Albanian split? One already exists on the Wiki for the latter, but it's brief and basically uninformative. --Ismail (talk) 18:16, 10 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I've decided to also one day rewrite the whole History of Albania article relying only on published book sources. Obviously this will take a while. As for the Soviet-Albanian split, it's in the works still. --Ismail (talk) 07:27, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Albania at the 2012 Summer Olympics

edit

Hello Mesfushor! Thank's for the barnstar! I read a news about Albanian Competitors at the 2012 Summer Olympicsl. According this news Albania have 12 competitors add Noel Borshi and Sidni Hoxha (swimmer), Adriatik Hoxha (athletics), Arben Kuçana (shooting). 8 are qualified and 4 are invited in total 12. Erkand Qerimaj was excluded, probably his place has occupied now by Endri Karina. Friendly Irvi Hyka (talk) 21:54, 21 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mesfushor, Welcome back! Evidently, you are a much needed editor. I would also like to expresses my gratitude with your past and present input on this talk page and more important the article; it's very welcome. Yes you're correct about my unexplained removal of info. Part of the reason is that the editing history of this article and its talk page seems to be as complicated as the subject himself. Since you first worked on this article (as sulmues) it has undergone some drastic changes —to the point that it was nominated for deletion. Since the result of the discussion was withdrawn by nominator I thought the related talk was no longer neither constructive nor necessary. As for the International Poet of Merit Award, I reasoned, if it is not mentioned in the article what is the point of it being there. Well, it is up to you, really.

On a different note, it looks like we'll indeed have to rewrite this article from scratch after all. By “we” I mean whoever wants to work on this project. I was leading that way, but wanted some input from you. My problem is I do not know Albanian and many important sources seem to be in that language. I could, however, work on the article in the coming weeks. Please let me know if I can be of any further help. David Green --198.205.17.200 (talk) 02:36, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
