Your submission at Articles for creation

edit

Thank you for submitting an article to Wikipedia. Your draft submission has been reviewed. However, the reviewer felt that a few things need to be fixed before it is accepted. Please take a look and respond if possible. You can find it at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Interplay (John Foxx And The Maths album). If there is no response within seven days, the request may be declined. If this happens, please feel free to continue to work on the article. You can resubmit it (by adding the text {{subst:submitdraft}} to the top of the article) when you believe the concerns have been addressed. Thank you. John Foxx Photo

edit

Greetings.

I noticed that you have edited several of the John Foxx related articles, and perhaps you are even associated, in some way, with this astounding artist. I was wondering if you might have access to a photo of Mr. Foxx that I might be able to include in the main John Foxx article. As you may know, Wikipedia's charter strongly favors photos that are can be freely distributed under a creative commons license.

If you are able to provide a photo, or know of someone who can, I would be most appreciative.

Cheers, MrX 18:57, 25 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of My Face

edit

The article My Face has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

not notable due to lack of citations to reliable sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —EncMstr (talk) 19:58, 10 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:My Face flexi.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Unnecessary tag

edit

Hi Metamatica. You added a "citation needed" tag to the following text, within the "Background" section of The Punishment of Luxury (album):

Toward completion of the gruelling recording sessions for English Electric (2013), there were internal doubts about the band's future.

However, this is in fact supported by the given PopMatters reference, which quotes Humphreys as follows:

"We sweated blood to get this [English Electric] album out, and in the process, particularly near the end, we were really exhausted. We said to each other 'I don't think we can do this again'."

For the sake of courtesy, I will first give you the opportunty to remove the tag you added. All the best! 82.132.232.180 (talk) 14:42, 29 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1987 in music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited John Moulder-Brown, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Prize (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
