Disambiguation link notification for November 29
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Particulate pollution, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anthropogenic (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:40, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
Manganese cycle moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Manganese cycle, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Biogeochemical Cycles
editPlease see my edit of Wikipedia:Wiki Ed/Georgia Institute of Technology/Biogeochemical Cycles (Spring 2019). I believe my fix cleans up the display of this article and it fixes an Unclosed quote in heading lint error. I realize this article is created from another source, viz: [1]. I encourage you to make the corresponding fix there. —Anomalocaris (talk) 09:37, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

editI edited Wikipedia:Wiki Ed/Georgia Institute of Technology/Biogeochemical Cycles (Spring 2021) to fix an to fix an Unclosed quote in heading lint error: a serious lint error that turns everything in the table of contents from that point down, and the entire article, into bold italics. You can go to the page history and see the problem in your version and how I fixed it. If there is any chance that this page will be re-created, please fix the source page, https://dashboard.wikiedu.org/courses/Georgia_Institute_of_Technology/Biogeochemical_Cycles_(Spring_2021)/timeline#week-6. Chemodenitrification
editAs a heads up, I have moved chemodenitrification to User:MethanoJen/Chemodenitrification, since it is clearly not ready for mainspace in its present state. Your students can work on it at its new title until it has sources and context, and then it can be moved back to mainspace. I can help with this if you like - just leave a message on my talk page. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 02:27, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
Brevard Fault moved to draftspace
editI would recommend that you develop this article in draft space, rather than causing sub-stubs without any references to appear in the main encyclopedia. This is the approach that all university projects in particular are recommended to use. When the article is in suitable form, move it to mainspace using the "Move" option in the page header menu; or drop me a line on my talkpage and I will do it. Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 00:53, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- (as noted in the message above this, developing the article in user space rather than draft space is also fine - just keep it out of mainspace until ready for presentation :) --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 00:57, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Useless stubs
editHi Jennifer, it appears that you are making some stub articles with almost no content so they are useless for our readers. If these are intended for students to expand on, I suggest that you convert them to drafts. That way they will have more time to get references and content instead of being deleted as articles. When I checked lead cycle, it did appear to be a notable topic though. What you can do is to remove the prod tags and move to names like draft:lead cycle. I will add a ping to @Ian (Wiki Ed): who looks to be the person helping you out with this. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:49, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
- Just happened on this lot in NPP. I'd also highly recommend moving these to draft for the time being; that's usually the best location for a student to work on them as well (more room to make errors before someone tears into them :) --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 19:01, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
- As you can see below, I have moved the four stubs that were still unreferenced at this time (gold, iodine, lead, potassium) to draft. I would strongly suggest that a) you don't move them back into mainspace before they are in a state that you would consider finished for course purposes, and b) moving the ones that remain in mainspace to draft as well. Things really tend to work out more smoothly if these things are allowed to incubate in safety rather than "in the wild". --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 18:41, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

editThank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Gemma Reguera, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 14:25, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
