Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Classical guitar do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. TNXMan 22:09, 18 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, just because the article is in bad shape does not justify adding additional content that does not meet our guidelines. You appear to have an interest and knowledge about the subject and may be able to quickly identify reliable sources from books.google.com or news.google.com or your own collection to properly improve the article. -- The Red Pen of Doom 00:31, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

From our WP:EL policy : "No page should be linked from a Wikipedia article unless its inclusion is justifiable." and then if you jump down to WP:ELYES the links you suggest meet none of the 3 criteria. -- The Red Pen of Doom 00:37, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

A carbonated beverage for you.
In addition, I suspect, although I do not have any concrete evidence, that there may be an "conflict of interest" issue here of promotion of these particular websites.-- The Red Pen of Doom 00:49, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Your prev. sentence makes me believe that you think that I am the author of those articles, or affiliated with the author. None of which is true. In fact I think the articles are rather limited, but it will be hard to find something better. You'll just have to trust me on that. Or you can ask me to have a soda! ;) Stay relaxed, I'm just trying to have innocent fun with witty interludes of light madness! Methodguitar (talk) 01:08, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, based on your user name and the fact that your only edits had been to add, re-add or voice opinions to re-add the links to the article, I suspected some type of personal connection. Thank you for correcting my assumption. -- The Red Pen of Doom 03:35, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Guitar tunings. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Wuhwuzdat (talk) 00:31, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
