First of all, the company or product has to be notable. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) to see if it qualifies; unless this product has been reviewed in major publications, chances are it isn't. Be sure to cite the relevant sources. Secondly, the article should be informative rather than promotional. Listing the features without mentioning a hint of criticism is a good indication of marketing material rather than encyclopedic information; articles must have a neutral point of view. Catalyst is referenced in Operations Management, Third Canadian Edition by Stevenson and Hojati. Catalyst Manufacturing is a registered trademark with the US Patent Office and has been in commercial distribution since 2002. I was referring to the BatchMaster listing as an example. Having a registered trademark means nothing--pretty much every product has one. The S&H ref is borderline; has the product been reviewed by a major professional journal? Even if the article is well written, it'll still be removed if the subject doesn't meet the notability criterion I mentioned above. Owen× ☎ 01:43, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

The trademark verifies Manufacturing Advisors as the author and owner. Catalyst has been reviewed and tested by Intuit as part of the certification process as a Silver Developer. It's also been listed in the ERP Buyer's Guide in APICS magazine. --Mfgadv 01:47, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Again, all this verifies that Catalyst is a real product, which I never doubted. That still doesn't mean it deserves an article in an encyclopedia. Remember, this is not the Yellow Pages or a product catalog. Owen× ☎ 01:52, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Just go ahead and remove it again please. I edited to make more objective, but it still doesn't qualify as notable - yet. I thought the Canadian reference would help; it was a good try. Thanks for your feedback. --Mfgadv 02:13, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
