Welcome!

edit

Hello, Mgattar, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Potential plagiarism in your content

edit

You should review all of your edits and your content, as several sections have been flagged as plagiarism. Remember, you can't copy and paste from a source, even if you are citing it. (And copy and paste also refers to typing it yourself.) Make sure you are summarizing information in your content in your own words. We will have to remove the plagiarized sections. I am happy to meet with you tomorrow (4/13) to discuss. Dr. Biga UABbiology (talk) 12:44, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
