Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Smith & Wesson Model 910 may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • a single stack magazine that has 8+1 capacity (vs. 10+1 and after 2004 15 +1) for the Model 910).<ref name="SupicaNahas2007"/>

Colt Burgess Rifle

edit

Hello Mike, I want to complete the Overview of the article: The rifle's action, though similar to the Winchester 1873's, is considered to be a stronger design. The Burgess rifle utilize a toggle-joint system to lock the breechblock. The extension of the loading lever is the lower part of the toggle joint, linked with the upper part to the breechblock. What do you think about? Yours, -- hmaag (talk) 14:49, 21 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Six Shooter

edit

Was not Colt's 1st effort a failed 5 shot pistol? I read that the Texicans saught him out to get them for their fight against the Indians. I understand that not even he had one anymore and they finally found one for him to duplicate. He improved it and made it a 6 shot. It was a big turning point in the war with the Indians. The Comanches could get off 10 arrows from horseback in the time the Anglos could get off 1 shot. The 6 shooter changed all of that. The final nail was the long rifle. Check out Quanah Parker Summer moon for details. markgregory51@hotmail.com. My Marine dad would not appreciate you saying you WERE a Marine. He has been dead for 40+ years and still is!
