Disambiguation link notification for October 6
editAn automated process has detected that when you recently edited William Denison Lyman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Walla Walla.
(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! Any idea why linkclassifier didn't show that link as a link to a disambiguation page? -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:21, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for catching my undefined reference error on the "Dengue virus" article
editHi Mikeblas! I wanted to thank you for removing my undefined references on the "Dengue virus" article and tagging me in the edit summary. I was copying some of the content from the Dengue fever article and forgot to check to see if I was adding undefined references. I went ahead and updated the article to include the references with proper formatting. Thanks again! Wikipedialuva (talk) 01:24, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- Happy to help! I looked at "Dengue fever" myself, but I guess I missed finding the declaration necessary. -- Mikeblas (talk) 13:46, 8 October 2023 (UTC)

editSee User talk:Fumikas Sagisavas#Iqaluit weatherbox. That's not the only one I've seen in effort to update the weatherboxes. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 15:31, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! Glad you got it sorted. -- Mikeblas (talk) 00:25, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
What did that fix?
editCite error: The named reference Beijing information
was invoked but never defined (see the help page). Quebec99 (talk) 13:03, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry -- I was working on fixing that issue, and several more when you made your edit. -- Mikeblas (talk) 13:08, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

editYour recent editing history at Brazil at the 2023 Pan American Games shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Henri DeGlane
editFair enough. I copied the references from another article covering the same issue. The Vice piece was a French language piece about the history and then-current state of wrestling in France. Romomusicfan (talk) 12:15, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Turns out that "FFCP" means Fédération Française de Catch Professionnel, so I've copied the reference definition you missed when copying the content. Now, the material is referenced in the same way as the source article. When copying material within Wikipedia, please follow WP:COPYWITHIN, which requires clear attribution. -- Mikeblas (talk) 15:20, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, DeGlane was one of the FFCP's original founders in the 1930s. I meant to copy only the one reference but accidentally copied the end tag for the Vice ref as well. Never mind, two will do as well as one. Romomusicfan (talk) 07:34, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Oxycodone article
editHi Mikeblas! I noticed you made this edit on the article "Oxycodone" that reverted some changes I made. I want to thank you for catching the error I made where I accidentally misspelled the reference name "Drugbank" as "Drungbank", which caused the "invoked but never defined" error. I was wondering if you would have any concerns or objects to me reverting the article back, but with the "Drungbank" ref name error fixed? Thanks! Wikipedialuva (talk) 01:09, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- Of course not -- just need to make sure the references still work after the adjustments are made. -- Mikeblas (talk) 02:32, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- Done Thanks for the quick reply! Wikipedialuva (talk) 03:19, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Mikeblas--thanks, but there's a bot that handles that. Drmies (talk) 14:28, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- It isn't guaranteed to attempt a fix, and often gets things wrong when it does make an attempt. Depending on it, in my opinion, is negligent. It's very easy to edit carefully, and if not enough time -- don't edit at all. -- Mikeblas (talk) 02:26, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
Need some help on 2 connected articles
editI just don't have the bandwidth to deal with trying to fix whatever the issues but I noticed you edited at least one of them...Dachau Uprising & Freiheitsaktion Bayern. There is some discussion happening at Talk:Dachau Uprising about renaming it or something... Could you please look in on the general situation? Something needs to be done but I can't figure out what. I am stepping away from WP for a while. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 22:48, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- Happy to help -- but I'm not too sure what it is you're specifically asking me to do. I don't have a strong opinion about how the article should be named (or how that cluster of topics should be structured), and it doesn't seem like anything on the talk page you linked is actionable just yet. -- Mikeblas (talk) 23:18, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- It's enough that you're aware of the 2 articles & maybe keep an eye on them. I guess I'm not sure that either Uprising or its sibling are notable enough or to be articles... I dunno, it just seems like kind of a mess. Thanks anyway, Shearonink (talk) 00:42, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
