Granyon article
editHello, please don't write an article about your own company. Below is added an automated message about this. Please let me know if you have any questions. Blythwood (talk) 12:15, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
Hello, Mikkel Noe Westh. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
- instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.
Speedy deletion nomination of Granyon
editHello Mikkel Noe Westh,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Granyon for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Blythwood (talk) 12:14, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
Notability
editAs a second point: the reason I don't think this article is right for Wikipedia is I don't think your company is notable enough to have a Wikipedia article on it yet. Wikipedia's rule on whether companies get an article is at WP:CORP - basically, a company has to have had coverage in the news. I don't see that being likely for a company founded less than a month ago (although feel free to try to prove me wrong!). My advice is to achieve something, and maybe someone you've worked for will like you so much they write an article about you. There are many other sites besides Wikipedia where you can post information about your company if you like. Blythwood (talk) 12:29, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
