- Thanks for registering an account! This will make it easier for us to keep in touch and continue the discussion. And by the way, I just wanted to point out, even though we don't agree about how to edit the South Korea article I think you seem to be doing good work with your editing, and the fact that you're having a discussion rather than edit-warring shows a lot of maturity. Keep up the good work, and don't hesitate to contact me or Caspian if you have any problems or questions, rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 17:18, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Megacity, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please be more careful next time when moving pages. The term "megacity" is a one word coined phrase and is more commonly accepted in this manner rather than the term you directed the page to "mega city". In general when moving pages, please discuss them first and if you do move a page, please redirect the talk page to the new move rather than blanking the page without an edit summary. Nominal/PPP
editPlease do not keep reverting and start and edit war, have a look at page 18 in the source.[1] ALL figures are in nominal USD figures. PPP values are not used. I would also suggest you have a look at List of countries by GDP (nominal) and List of countries by GDP (PPP) for reference. Nirvana888 (talk) 21:45, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

editPlease do not remove links to active deletion discussions. If you believe that a nominated image should be kept on Wikipedia, please participate in the discussion by following the link in the template. (ESkog)(Talk) 16:38, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Edit summaries
editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, as you forgot on your recent edit to South Korea. This is especially important when editing parts of the article that have been the subject of major discussion and dispute; the lead section of the South Korea article has been argued about for months. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 01:25, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Of course I know there have been a long debate about the intro. I have been watching progress since I last edited the article. Have been focusing on others since then. Looks like it is more or less the same, but has some incorrect facts like the thing about Goryeo - Silla was the first dynasty that unified Korea, not Goryeo. Other than that, some facts have been simply removed in the last paragraph, to the extent that it almost sounds negative. The factual stuff in the first and 2nd paragraph are really good though. Milkmooney (talk) 01:40, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Please refrain from edit waring on the article. I see Hyoshan has undone your change, and of course that can be frustrating, but this article has such a volatile history that reverting back and forth cannot be tolerated. Both of you should not go to Talk:South Korea and try to discuss what should be said in the article; if you continue to edit war, one or both of you may be blocked, no matter who was "right". rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 01:49, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I suggest you warn Hyoshan first, Rjang. I simply corrected the right and wrong, by historical accuracy. Goryeo wans't the first dynasty to unify the peninsula, it was Silla. Milkmooney (talk) 01:53, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- You both got warnings at the same time: [2][3] (actually, his was a minute earlier, if it makes a difference)
- The point isn't who's right and who's wrong. The point is that revert warring is bad for the article and for Wikipedia, no matter who is right. You might be 100% right, but edit warring helps no one; once an edit war begins, everyone needs to back off and engage in discussion. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 01:57, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- And warning like that helps no one since you just angered me. Don't tell me what to do and not to. Everyone has the right to edit an article, including reverting it if necessary. That's the whole point of Wikipedia. You seem to be scared of an edit war happening - don't worry, I'm not that unintelligent to get involved in such resultless actions. Milkmooney (talk) 01:59, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I wasn't telling you what to do; I was offering a suggestion to help calm things down. As for "everyone has the right to edit an article, including reverting it"....well, technically that may be true, if you add that you also have the right to get yourself blocked for reverting too much. I was trying to help advise you on the right way to go about this dispute (because, to be honest, I like your version of the article better than Hyoshan's), but if this is how you are going to react to constructive suggestions then forget about it. This isn't the first time today I've had an editor get up in my face for offering to help, and I'm not really in the mood for putting up with more of it. Good luck. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 02:03, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Look, if you are going to offer "constructive" advice, then be nice in the first place. It sounds as if you are trying to abuse your administrative rights and threaten me to not start any reverts. Don't bite newcomers. Change your tone first buddy, and you will get far more positive responses. 02:06, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- This is the problem with communicating through text--it's often easy to accidentally give off the wrong impression. I did not intend for my first message to be a threat or to come off as condescending, so I apologize if it did. I mainly just meant to inform you about the edit warring policy because I wasn't sure if you knew about it, and I didn't want to see you get blocked for reverting. I've already had a long day on WP so my response to your later message was a bit snappy, which it shouldn't have been. Apologies. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 02:42, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- No problem, just look out for me in the future. Milkmooney (talk) 10:46, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

South Korea orthographic projection
editI have started a discussion on the talk page (started before your revert) in order to prevent any edit wars. I have added additional information partly in response to edits such as yours. Please participate in the discussion over there instead of undoing edits, as that results in no discussion. Thank you, :)

- do you think a zoomed in Orthographic might be best? higher quality image and ore centred on the country. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.217.59.87 (talk) 03:16, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Hello, since you're interested in editing the articles of South Korea and Seoul, especially economy sections, would you consider expanding the redirect page of Economy of Seoul? I want to contribute to but until my ongoing task to expand/clean up Gyeongju, which is a huge one (to prevent from delisting FA) is wrapped up, my hands are all tied. So I'm instead seeking any possible editor for the suggested article. And if you're also interested in Gyeongju, could you proofread some expanded sections to fix my grammatical errors such as Gyeongju#Economy and Gyeongju#Sports? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.--Caspian blue 16:04, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
