Jayjg new revert war at Ahmadinejad and Israel

I would like you to take a look at the removal by Jayjg of a section in the article. [1] This section was first inserted in mid April, when the speech was widely reported internationally. Jayjg removed it not only without suggesting an alternative, but did not make any mention of the fact that he had removed it in the discussion section. That major change was first discussed after two reversions by other people when I brought it up in the discussion section. I restored it to the state it had existed for six weeks pending a compromise being reached in discussion but it was reverted by a different user. I removed all quotations except one so that the section fit better with the others. Jayjg reverted that also.[2] I find this behavior offensive from anyone, especially an arbcom member. The section in question was just a near verbatim reproduction of an uninteresting speech by Ahmadinejad; as part of a cleanup of the article I removed it and explained clearly why in my edit summary. It was subsequently moved to Wikiquote. The removal has also been discussed at length on the Talk: page. None of that constitutes "Jayjg new revert war", and your spamming of this duplicate message on the Talk: page of every single ArbCom member is highly disruptive. Regarding IRC chanops and the channel "master"

I don't negotiate with online thugs who have 30+ access on #wikipedia. Until James_F gets off his sorry ass, apologizes to me and restores my "lofty" 10 level access, I won't be back. End of story. Proposed decision about Cesar Tort et al

Only one question. If the 6 April article I rewrote with Midgley [3] was a NPOV correction of the previous pov incarnation (in which Midgley, not I, removed the tag), how can this be considered "Tendentious editing by Cesar Tort [...]" in Proposed decision? Thanks for your comment on ArbCom

It could have been settled in the way you suggest. But when I indicated to the administrator privately that there was no legal threat intended, expressed or implied, it made no difference, and he indicated that he still intended to block me forever. I can only surmise that public apology was being sought. So this has gone beyond reasonable resolution, because I'm not going to apologize for breaking rules I didn't break. I know admins are human, but summary courtmarshal and dishonorable discharge for failure to salute, is overkill. That's my argument, anyway. Sorry you don't see it that way, but you might, if it had happened to you! Steve 03:45, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Anonymous comment on another case by somebody else

Dear Mindspillage,

I am a well wisher of Haroon Leghari who is the legally confirmed son of Noor Leghari. I am having a long standing dispute with someone who claims to be the well wisher of Noor Leghari and constantly edits the article on Noor Leghari by removing the name of Haroon Leghari from his profile. Now to ensure that we are clear on the matter one can provide a copy of the birth certificate and a copy of the National Identity card where Haroon Leghari also known as Sardar Haroon Arif Khan Leghari is shown with the fathers name as Noor Leghari. If Noor Leghari had any dispute on the matter he would have obtained an injunction through the court on Haroon Leghari and banned him from using his name on all official documents. Indeed if any doubt he would have conducted a DNA test with his so called son and cleared the matter up once and for all. The fact is that they both live in the same city Karachi and move around in the same social circles. Yet Noor Leghari is quite content to let the matter ride. Silence in this case is admission. It is another matter that he is not rocking the boat in case the matter goes for a DNA. The truth will be then quite clear to see. The birth certificate is dated 1958 from London in the UK. So there is no chance of it being a forgery or a con job. Also Haroon Leghari's National ID card carries his fathers name. How can all these facts be un true and just the word of someone who does not like the idea of Haroon Leghari claiming to be his fathers son be true. Obviously it is someone real close who has bought the other story that Haroon Leghari and his mother are some kind of con artists and frauds claiming something not true. What has anyone gained from all of this. Noor Leghari is now 72 yrs old. Has Haroon Leghari ever asked his father for anything? the answer is no!. He lives his own life and does not approach his father for any help and as far as I know Haroon has gone through hell all his life being branded a bastard and the whole shibbang. He deserves some justice. He has never asked his father for anything even when he has been in the dumps. So I ask justice for him. If the law accepts him as Noor Leghari's son who are we to dispute it. If Noor Leghari does not object and allows this claim to stand who are we to interfere. The profile of Noor Leghari should contain Haroon Leghari's name until and unless Noor Leghari himself objects to it contacts Wikipedia to say he is not in agreement with the facts in the article. In the meantime if Wikipedia wishes a copy of the birth certificate and National ID card and if Haroon agrees a letter in which Noor Leghari himself confirms the existance of Haroon and that he is his son. Infact he was instumental in naming him himself. If you read NOOR backwards you will see the significance. HA ROON ( NOOR ) The fact that nature has played its own justice has made Haroon a carbon copy physically of his father is also there. But like I always say let the detractors come and face reality let there be a DNA and if Haroon is an imposter he will be exposed for what he is and he should change his name and that of his immediate family forever with an apology on behalf of his mother and himself ( even though I would not be able to demonstrate his fault... your mother says you are a mans son...so what is your fault in this ) however if it is proven that he is the son of Noor Leghari then Noor Leghari should run a massive Ad in the National dailies accepting him as his son and asking for forgiveness from Haroon Leghari and his dead mother for all the suffering and pain that his public non acceptance has caused these two yesterday and as we speak. I think Wikipedia has only to face facts and not get swayed by the argument of objectors in this matter. I have legal proof what does the detractor have only an argument with nothing to back it up. Fairplay demands that both parties should put up proof and then argue. I believe the objector has no leg to stand on other then falsly trying to protect Noor Leghari from facing the facts. I await your comments and like I said I am prepared to provide proof.

I've temporarily removed your oversight privilege, as it appears you've been removing some edits that aren't legal issues. Use of this tool needs to kept to the absolute minimum due to the way it removes evidence completely from public history. --Brion 22:31, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
