Thanks for creating Hydroxylamine-O-sulfonic acid, Minihaa!
Wikipedia editor Blythwood just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Looks good. I've added two citations to textbooks using the Google Books citation generator, which I recommend as a good way to get citations in place.

German vs Engl Wiki-Chem
Hi there. Here is one perspective on the big translations that are coming over to the English from the German: English Wiki-Chem is generally more observant of WP:SECONDARY. Two recent translations - hydrogen peroxide-urea and Hydroxylamine-O-sulfonic acid that come from the German are heavily supported with super specialized information. That kind of stuff in unencyclopedic, representing some form of cherry picking and WP:UNDUE. Basically, the German Wikipedia lack the editorial scrutiny that English Wiki is subjected to in the chemistry area. One way to poach good general information but leave the hyperspecialized stuff behind would be to flag the English articles could benefit from selective importation. I would be glad to help out. --Smokefoot (talk) 02:30, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hi there. Thanks for the suggestions, it is highly admired. I am not sure if I can identify "hyperspecialized stuff". Which part would you translate e. g. from de:Dinatriumphenyldibenzimidazoltetrasulfonat? I always got the impression that it is better to add overspecialised knowledge than leaving it blank. I think it may be removed later when more generalised knowledge is available. --Minihaa (talk) 12:13, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- OK thanks, I just wanted to voice a concern. Two points:
- The main one: we agree "overspecialised knowledge than leaving it blank". The practical problem, which I have encountered, is that removal of referenced content on the grounds that it is too specialized can lead to a firestorm from editors who claim that Wikipedia has no space limits.
- how to "identify "hyperspecialized stuff""? No simple answer exists to this question. One of the emerging issues as Wikipedia-Chem matures is the variable quality of content added by folk who don't know very much context but are determined to contribute regardless.
- In any case thanks and happy editing. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:32, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- I can understand your concerns at least partially. I saw that you did remove some specific reaction conditions from a article I translated. In the future I won't translate such details again. If there is something else specific I shall change (or if I shall stop translations completely) just tell me. Thanks for your time. Best regards --Minihaa (talk) 15:40, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Minihaa, dont mind me. Do your really nice work which can be heavy lifting, and other wonks can doctor up according to our own standards or fetishes. Thanks for being so responsive. Partly, I am thinking out loud. Happy editing etc --Smokefoot (talk) 16:57, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. That motivates me again. --Minihaa (talk) 19:41, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

Translations
Hi, thanks for translating articles into English! Could I just ask that when you translate an article you add the {{translated page}} template to the talk page of articles you translate? See here for the reason why. Thank you! Seagull123 Φ 23:23, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- Sure! Thanks for the helpful link. --Minihaa (talk) 23:25, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
Autopatrolled
Hi Minihaa, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Fabrictramp | talk to me 23:08, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Fabrictramp: Thanks for the extended rights. Might be helpful. Best regards --Minihaa (talk)

AKD
Pretty impressive article now, at least to me. A lot of hard work. One thought is that we might create an article on paper sizing and move some of your content to that article, leaving AKD to mainly focus on a class of compounds. The article sizing is not ideal and maybe could become an overview/disambiguation page, guiding readers to paper sizing and maybe textile sizing.--Smokefoot (talk) 20:42, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. Please mind though that I did only translate the article. de:Benutzer Diskussion:ChemDoc 2010 did a great job writing it. Please use the content however it appears best to you. Kind regards --Minihaa (talk) 15:26, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
