Hi Mizamor, Great start to the article! The voice is very objective and the use of citation provides strong points. I think that it would be interesting to investigate groups that utilize leaktivism such as Anonymous and wikileaks. Since this assignment is for an ethics class, it may be worth looking into the ethical implications of leaktivism. Should information be leaked indiscriminately or should leaks also be filtered? Filtering leaks may inherently contradict the idea of leaktivism which is to make all information available, however, ethical issues may arise. I didn't see any grammatical errors and, overall, the article seemed very factual and it appears that it is almost ready to be posted on Wikipedia! Ashiu33 (talk) 14:39, 30 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Peer Review #2

Definitely a good start but I would write more about the definition of leaktivism. One sentence, in the context of Wikipedia does not really satisfy the definition. So definitely try and possibly find another source and add to your definition. Aside from that, the origin story is fairly strong but again could use more elaboration. I also agree with the first review in saying that there should be a section added about the ethics of leaktivism and how leaktivism came to be. The quotes could use a little more explanation but the sources that you quote seem reliable and the in text citations seem to be in order. Aside from all that, its a very interesting topic and you have a great foundation. Keep up the great work and continue to build on your article.

edit

This looks great, Montse. A couple things: 1) make sure you end all quotes with a period (even if you are cutting off the quote in the middle of a sentence, it's ok), and 2) too many quotes for a Wikipedia article! Can you rephrase some of this in your own words? I also think the sub-headings could be a little more descriptive... maybe the first one could be "Background: Panama Papers," and the second "Leaktivism Coinage and Aims" (or something similar). Otherwise, I think this looks great and will be ready to move over soon. Let me look at it again at our meeting once you've made some changes to give it the final OK. --Jmstew2 (talk) 04:02, 4 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
