TLAs

edit

A proposal has been made at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move TLAs from AAA to DZZ and other related pages to Wikipedia namespace. Please visit Talk:TLAs from AAA to DZZ for the related discussion. -- Francs2000 | Talk   00:35, 16 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hi. My name is John.

Rather than get into a revert war, would you care to discuss why you changed my edit back to BCE? BC is the common term used throughout Wikipedia, including the Wikipedia LINK you linked BCE to. JohnFlaherty 08:23, 17 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Okay. I read up on this while waiting for your response and while I;

1) disagree with it and

2) see it as inconsitent with the rest of Wikipedia (BC vs BCE), I also recognize your point regarding Wikipedia's directions on entry style. BCE/CE was the original usage.

Thanks.

John

{{unblock|"I've been blocked many times because the IP address (192.35.35.35) that I am sometimes assigned is also used by some vandal. I can't contact the blocker Infrogmation, because he doesn't accept email (which doesn't seem appropriate for a blocker). The prohibiting message says "long term vandal, previous blocks & warnings" How do I fix this...}}

I have removed the old block and re-blocked the account to block anonymous users only for the rest of the 20 days of the block. You should be able to edit now.--Konstable 21:02, 18 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock|Again, I believe that 192.35.35.35 is used by a lot of people -- It is used by the proxy3b.external.lmco.com, which would be a significant part of lockheed martin}}

I just checked, and the block is "anon-only," which means that you as a logged-in user should have no problems editing. Try to edit the sandbox or another page you haven't visited before (to avoid browser cache issues which might cause you to load an old page from when you were blocked). If you find that you're still blocked, please copy and paste the full text of the pink box at the top of the block page, to help us in looking into this. Thanks for your patience. UML case/class diagrams

edit

When I reverted back to "case" diagrams, I was thinking of "use case" diagrams, which are used for something else in UML. A "class" diagram is the correct one for the context.[1] Thanks. Supadawg (talk contribs) 02:33, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

List of UML tools

edit

Hi. Your input on Talk:List_of_UML_tools#External_links would be appreciated. I'm in a content dispute with user:GraemeL (wee, two admins in serious diagreement, ouch...) See also his and my talk page and the history of List of UML tools). GraemeL removes all products that don't have wiki article and keeps reverting me. I would like to discuss this instead of revert warring. We need some input from other wikipedians. --Ligulem 01:02, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Invisible Man (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Monocane (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
