For our topic, a possibility is improving the "Sleep study" article. It's currently rated as start-class according to wikipedia's quality rating. I was thinking of creating a "Sleep psychology" or "Psychology of sleep" page, but there is already a well developed "Nuerosceince of sleep" page. I figured this is too similar to sleep psychology, but if Dr. Council thinks it would be a good idea to create that page, I think that would be best. Mladen44 (talk) 20:43, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

Another possibility is improving the "Biopsychosocial model" page. It is rated as start class and of high importance by the psychology wikiproject.

Assignment 4

A problem/ issue with the article: It simply lacks information and detail. The article basically just lists what sleep studies are used for and short descriptions of different types of sleep study methods.

Two questions or comments: Should we approach this from more of a psychology perspective and focus on on sleep studies are done in psychology labs, or more so look at how it is studied for medicine since it's in the medicine category? Should the articles we use be ones that are simply focused on discussing sleep study techniques or may articles on specific research done on sleep be helpful as well?

A problem with this article: Going off of what Matt said the article only tells what they are and not really some other reasons outside of sleep apnea that one would need to have a sleep study done.

@Mladen44: Nice start on your draft. I made a few small changes in your formatting to meet the Wikipedia style guide - for example, the only thing that should be bolded in the article is the article title. A few more things you could do

• Only the first word of section headers should be capitalized
• Your section about the people who administer sleep studies needs sources. It would also help if you fleshed those sections out a bit.
• I know this isn't your doing, but the "Utility" section would be a lot better if it was converted to a paragraph instead of a lot of bullet points. So if you have the time, I would recommend doing that.
• Your work needs copy-editing. There are things like missing spaces between sentences.
