Kesterson v. Kent State University
editHi, I've moved this back to your sandbox because there just wasn't enough coverage to show how this specific court case is notable. This coverage is incredibly necessary, as the case won't inherit notability from it being associated with Kent State or from the seriousness of the alleged crime. Court cases, even ones against large or notable persons or organizations, aren't automatically notable unless they proceed to the Supreme Court of the United States so there needs to be more news coverage.
Unfortunately the coverage here looks to be entirely primary and local, meaning that only news outlets in the area or state have covered this so far. Local coverage is greatly depreciated on Wikipedia, as it's assumed that local sources will cover local events - especially something like this, that would involve a major institution. Now there may be coverage in the future, but may not occur until the trial itself comes to pass. A lot of articles on trials don't get created until after the fact, to be honest, as most of the coverage isn't available until scholarly or academic journals and books cover the case or in situations where the court case sets a notable legal precedent per WP:CASES.
