editHello. Your addition of Barton was useful - she's an excellent source for inquiries into the broader, underlying ethos of the Games. However, at 37 pages, Barton's is a fairly lengthy work; for verification purposes we should offer specific page numbers that deal with the matter in hand. I've made the necessary changes. I'm sorry to remove your other addition (to the modern or popular culture section in the same article) but "mere mentions" and examples are probably not enough, even if they seem self-evidently relevant or self-sourcing.
