Ways to improve Drosophila silvestris
editHello, Mmhua,
Thank you for creating Drosophila silvestris.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Hi Mmhua, great work on this species article! You will note that I have moved the material from the lede into sections in the article body, because the lede should only consist of a (non-referenced) summary of the article, not introduce new material by itself. If you can find the time to create such a summary, that would be appreciated :) Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 23:28, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Elmidae}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.
- Gah. Seems like the tool does not want to play nice. I just wanted to drop you a note saying thanks for the fine article, and that I have moved the novel material from the lede into the text body - the lede should only consist of a summary of the article. not introduce new material. If you have the time, such a summary would be appreciated :) Cheers --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 23:57, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Elmidae, thank you so much for your kind words and help! I will do my best to make a stronger lead section. I'm not sure if I have enough time to improve it today, but I will certainly keep working on it in the future!--Mmhua (talk) 00:24, 2 October 2019 (UTC)

DYK for Chrysomya putoria
editOn 8 December 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Chrysomya putoria, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Chrysomya putoria (genus member pictured) and other flies that feed on decomposing flesh are used as important tools in forensic entomology to establish the post-mortem interval? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Chrysomya putoria. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Chrysomya putoria), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
