I am a Research Scientist at the department of Communication Networks (ComNets) since Feb, 2005, experimenting on network protocols and different simulation methods.

Before joining to ComNets as assistant worker, I have finished Master of Science in Communication and Information Technology (CIT) at the University of Bremen. At the time of pursuing my studies, I was also working with ComNets working group. My supervisors were Prof. Dr. Carmelita Görg and Dipl.-Ing. Andreas J. Könsgen.

The topic of my Master Thesis is 'Design and Performance Evaluation of the Parallelisation of Discrete Event Simulators using High Level Architecture' [abstarct].

Image Tagging Image:2004.11.18 12.10.26 2.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:2004.11.18 12.10.26 2.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ~MDD4696 22:46, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

This also goes for Image:2004.11.18 12.10.26.jpg. ~MDD4696 22:48, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Rti.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Rti.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:07, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of AAMS Arefin Siddique

edit

The article AAMS Arefin Siddique has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced BLP

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Eeekster (talk) 23:32, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
