Yes, that's possible. Help:Unified login should get you started. If you run into problems, drop me a line. If I read Wikipedia:OpenID Proposal correctly, it is possible to enable OpenID for MediaWiki, but this has not been done on Wikipedia. You might want to ask this at WP:VPP.
