Edits to Sotho language

Hi, Mohahlaula. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sotho language, you changed many references of 'Sotho' (when referring to the language) to 'Sesotho'. The English Wikipedia has guidelines concerning naming conventions for languages. Per the guideline, 'Sotho' would be the preferred word to use in this case. It never hurts to be familiar with the manual of style while contributing.

Charles Robberts Swart statue

Hi Mohahlaula, thank you very mach for making the addition to Charles Robberts Swart's statue. I have made an adjustment to your edit by removing unreferenced sections related to the background behind why it was toppled and because of NPOV issues. However I would like to see some background information about why it was toppled be included there with references. If you get a chance to add more about the statue toppling that is referenced and is as NPOV as possible that would greatly improve the article. --Discott (talk) 08:50, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi there,

I see you accuse me of vandalism on the Lesotho article, claiming that my edit contradicts the cited source. That's absurd, given that the very source referenced in the article reports that "the prime minister of the southern African kingdom of Lesotho has fled to South Africa, alleging a coup by the army and saying his life is in danger." The source also refers to that alleged coup as a 'coup' just like I had done. I guess you should have read what's actually written on the source. Peace.

Your reversion of my edit to Butha-Buthe and other articles

I recently mass-reverted edits by an editor who has been entering apparently-bogus population data into large numbers of articles. I suspect these figures may also be suspect, and you may have inadvertently restored erroneous numbers. However, I have not had time to independently check every figure, and it's also just possible they may have mixed some correct ones in with the bogus ones, to add to the confusion. Please could you verify the figures before reverting my reverts? -- The Anome (talk) 10:55, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
