editHello, Mohamedmarzz, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Mohamedmarzz96 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:59, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, DoubleGrazing, hope you're doing well!
- Yes I created another user named "Mohamedmarzz96" as I could not resubmit the article and I thought it was alright to do so!
- I can delete the other account if that's okay!
- Thank you for your response and assistance! Mohamedmarzz (talk) 11:03, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- No, you cannot delete the other account, as Wikipedia user accounts cannot be deleted by anyone. What you should do is add a note on the other account's user page saying you have two accounts and you're using this one instead, and then stop using the other account. What you shouldn't do is use both accounts in parallel, like you did at Draft:Hyatt Regency Cairo West, without a good reason and without being transparent about it. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:11, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- I didnt use them in parallel. When I couldn't resubmit the article, I created another one to submit it. I wasn't trying to break the law! I just did not know it Mohamedmarzz (talk) 11:14, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- You did use them in parallel. On March 5th, Mohamedmarzz edited the draft. On the 12th, Mohamedmarzz96 did. Then on the 13th, Mohamedmarzz edited again. This means that the Mohamedmarzz96 edit is sandwiched between the Mohamedmarzz edits, meaning you were using both accounts in parallel. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:51, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- I added the note sir! Mohamedmarzz (talk) 11:18, 13 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello Mohamedmarzz. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Hyatt Regency Cairo West, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Mohamedmarzz. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Mohamedmarzz|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:37, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- No I am not directly or indirectly being compensated for my edits whatsoever! I just work there and I am not getting paid to do this article Mohamedmarzz (talk) 11:41, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- You don't need to paid explicitly to edit Wikipedia. The fact that you work there and are writing about your employer puts you squarely within the paid-editing rules. Just make the disclosure already! -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:48, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- done! Mohamedmarzz (talk) 11:50, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Will I not be able to publish the article? Mohamedmarzz (talk) 12:05, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- done! Mohamedmarzz (talk) 11:50, 13 March 2024 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Mohamedmarzz. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Hyatt Regency Cairo West, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:00, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
