Molarbear
During this semester, I plan on editing the following pages:
Joseph Campbell
Burial (musician)
Flying Lotus
For the Joseph Campbell page, I plan on perhaps adding some quotations or more on his connections to anthropology (Joseph Campbell was actually the figure who inspired me to study anthropology).
For the Burial page (a favorite musician of mine) I plan on possibly editing the discography, as well as adding more information about him.
For the Flying Lotus page, I plan on editing grammar and discography and other upcoming projects. He is a musician and a friend of mine.
NPOV:
"In addition to being a major source of variation, mutation may also function as a mechanism of evolution when there are different probabilities at the molecular level for different mutations to occur, a process known as mutation bias."
This statement is NPOV because it avoids using words that imply any value judgement about mutation and variation. In addition, the word "may" leaves room for possibility, whereas using a word like "is" would imply that that there is no room for debate. Additionally, there is a legitimate citation at the end of the statement.

We are planning to create a separate page for the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis. Currently, when you search Sapir-Whorf you are taken to a page about linguistic relativity and there is no page for just the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis.
I look forward to reading your music research. Anthro135 JDK (talk) 19:12, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Ya let's start a group. Similar to Jay, the music research looks interesting and I'm doing the same for bands I like. We should swap music sometime since I like listening to new stuff all the time 90santi90 (talk) 19:27, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
COMMENT KSRolph
editNice work here, and enjoying your engagement in your topics. Makes me wonder what you plan to do when you graduate. My now deceased, best friend, godmother used to tell me that the reason we live is to love and be loved. I don't think it was original, but I don't recall where it came from.KSRolph (talk) 04:46, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
