Statement of COI
editI have knowledge of some details regarding the investigations of at least one of Ariel Fernandez' scientific publications in the real world, and I acknowledge that this involvement constitutes a conflict of interest in Wikipedia per WP:BLPCOI. I have not and will not edit content about Ariel Fernandez or his research, and will be sure to abide by WP:BLP in talk page discussions. Molevol1234 (talk) 19:05, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

- My name isn't mentioned on any of the links you give, so perhaps you could clarify why you are tagging me with this. In any case, note that someone's employment history isn't necessarily a non-controversial matter. I have every right to raise objections to statements that I know to be false. When they cannot be verified as either true or false based on public information, it is worth considering whether to include them. Rice University and other organizations also have a stake in what is said on this page, and you should do due diligence for all affected parties, not just the article subject.
