= A little pointer.
editHi Mollybygolly
Welcome to Wikipedia.
I noticed that you used the first person, i.e. "we" in your work on Domestic violence. We only use the third person "they" here.--Expsychobabbler (talk) 16:34, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Hello back:
{{helpme}} I am a new user to the Wiki site and I appreciate your comments.. Why did you remove my last link to state of maryalnd of Domestic Violence site .. thanks (Mollybygolly (talk) 01:20, 20 October 2009 (UTC))
Hi again
Firstly, we don,t sign our names on article pages, only on discussion or talk pages. Wikipedia has agreed conventions on the use of links to other websites which can be read here. Some online sources are suitable as inline citations, when they are formatted thus: <ref>[web address space Description of site]Date retrieved</ref>. This automatically creates a numbered reference in the references section of the article. Clicking on the number takes you to the reference. Remember that this is a worldwide project not specific to any state or nation, so Maryland practice may be too specific for the overall article. Your contribution is valued so please don't be put off by any complexities of editing, and stick at it.--Expsychobabbler (talk) 08:57, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
{{helpme}} again. Thank you expsychobabbler for giving me these pointers.. It really helps... I think I understand..Still trying to navigate the site and get used to Wiki language.. Also, am I talking on the correct site here when I want to respond to your messages.. or should I be going to your site to ask questions (Mollybygolly (talk) 11:09, 20 October 2009 (UTC))
Hello, how may i assist you?--Dwayneflanders ☺ 02:17, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi Mollybygolly, Its perfectly okay to ask questions and respond to others on your own talk page - put a {{helpme}} if you need help, but, remember to specify a question you wanna ask pls. :) 222.177.234.220 (talk) 12:43, 20 October 2009 (UTC) (User:Blodance not logged in)
If I leave comments on your talkpage I will be watching for replies there. If you come to my talk page, as you are welcome to, I will answer there. It is easier if conversations are kept in one place I think. In fact I am off to look for one of those page headers that say so. Another copy and paste job I expect.--Expsychobabbler (talk) 21:33, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
I am in the process of reading all of the pointers and helpful information about Wiki from everything you sent a few days ago. I will soon be trying again to post a stub on something that I research. Still getting used to the the wiki language. the cheat sheet is great. thank you (Mollybygolly (talk) 22:21, 21 October 2009 (UTC))
