Ocassi! Somebody is spying on me!

Ocassi, A few teahouse hosts have been spying on me. I've logged out and am on my IP adress. They been looking on my conrtibutions daily and are inspecting those. I don't know if more than 1 man is doing it but Writ Keeper is doing it.117.207.232.59 (talk) 09:40, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Monareal, I want to make this easy for you.

There is no such thing as spying on Wikipedia, because all contributions are public. We want people to look at each other's contributions. That's one of the ways we keep the site functioning. It's a way to learn about what others are doing, and also respond if they're doing something incorrectly.

I would strongly suggest you adopt a no drama rule. Limit your interactions with editors who cause you grief. Only spend your time working on articles and areas that you enjoy. Ignore the rest.

Stop spending time on drama. It will disappear if you stop giving it so much attention.

I'm really not trying to hound you, Mona. All that happened was this: I saw your question about a userbox that talked about bot edits. I didn't know if you had a bot and you were making it for yourself or if you were just making it for someone else, so I took a look at your contribs to see if you had made any requests at WP:BRFA. Didn't find any, so I concluded that you were making it for someone else, but then I noticed that you made a post on a long-retired user's talk page, which I thought was pretty strange. Then I saw your related posts on Ocaasi's talk page, and I thought it even stranger. So I asked you about it on your talk page. That's all. I don't scan your contribs daily; in fact, I believe that's the only time I've ever looked at them to date.

I would like to echo what Ocaasi says here; there does seem to be a drama dial set a little too high here. Click it back a few notches, and I'll bet that Wikipedia will become a lot less stressful and a lot more fun.

Well, I have your user talk page on my watchlist, because I've made comments there. As I say in my edit notice, I put on my watchlist any place where I comment and think I'll get a response. I saw Ocaasi's talkback, and got here from that. As for the Olessi/ocaasi thing, I explained it right above this. I honestly don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about when you say, "You almost killed me when I was trying to make peace with 20th tryer," even minus the hyperbole.

I'm sorry about calling you "Mona". It was just what I've been used to calling you; I didn't know that you didn't like it. Now that I know you don't, I won't call you that again.

And really, even if I was checking your contribs regularly (which, again, I am not), it's not as who should say spying. There is a public record of everyone's edits for a reason.
