Remember to always sign your name on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~
) at the end of your post; this will automatically insert your username, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
As always though, the best way to learn about something is to experience it. Go and explore Wikipedia, the more time you spend on it, the more you'll know, and don't forget to have some fun!

editI've removed the template I added myself, as you seem to be editing in good faith. However, you are wrong, and are still violating the 3rr rule - the Mini is not, and has never been a hatch, only the BMW Mini is a hatch, and that has its own article. a_man_alone (talk) 21:12, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:53, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Do not vandalise pages such as List of Top Gear episodes. We never use the word season as that is an American word, so please refrain from using it on ANY British page. Also remember that when editing a page, try and use a dd mm yy format rather than the American way. Regards, Mythical Curse (talk) 09:07, 25 November 2011 (UTC).
- MC, you may want to remember to assume good faith when discussing edit with new editors, and think carefully before accusing an editor of vandalism simply because they've made an error. Monsterpose43's edits to the article were erroneous, but they were hardly vandalism. You invite undesirable consequences when you glibly refer to an editor as having vandalized a page with no foundation for doing so, as you've done here. Drmargi (talk) 11:20, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
- Hi there. Please refrain from this kind of edit - both the edit summary reverting you the first time round, and the above message should have been enough to let you know that you were in error. It's hard to see how your latest change to the episode list is therefore in good faith. a_man_alone (talk) 09:13, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
Adding to what the others have said, please be careful to familiarize yourself with British English before you edit articles on British (as well as a good few other countries') subject matter. American English is standardized differently from British English, and their vocabulary and spelling differs from ours. You should also be aware that unlike the US, which has a traditional September-May broadcast season, British television series typically consist of far fewer episodes than American series (often as few as six episodes), their start dates are staggered over the full calendar year, and they don't produce episodes on as regular a schedule as American series do. As a consequence, the British refer to a group of episodes as a series, not season of episodes.
That said, neither is it true, as Mythic Curse would have you believe, that the British never use the term season; in fact groups of episodes from older series are frequently described in terms of seasons, reflecting a time when British television was on a more regular schedule than it is now.
If you're unsure which is correct, the best move is to consult a regular editor on the article of interest to you before you proceed with an edit. Otherwise, you'll find yourself reverted in short order. A good rule of thumb: if an article is as extensive as List of Top Gear episodes, it's a pretty good bet that a change such as you've made has been discussed, often at length. Before you edit, take the time to check the article's talk page and talk page archives for previous discussions. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle. Drmargi (talk) 11:20, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
Killing the Hilux on Top Gear
editWe seem to have a difference of opinion about how Clarkson 'appeared' to kill the Hilux. We could have an edit war where we revert each until one of us dies of boredom or we could discuss it like civilised people at talk:Toyota Hilux#Top Gear - destroying the indestructable. Maria Barsi
editHi. I have restored the redirect to the Maria Barsi article back to the Judith Barsi article because the subject does not meet the criteria for Wikipedia's notability standards. Please see WP:GNG, WP:ENTERTAINER and WP:NOTINHERITED for more information. Thank you. Pinkadelica♣ 01:42, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
- Since you restored this article once again but failed to at least explain why you feel the subject needs have her very own article (despite the fact that the very same information is repeated in the Judith Barsi article AND the subject clearly isn't notable by Wikipedia standards), I have nominated it for deletion. editWelcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Maria Barsi. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. AllyD (talk) 10:47, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:MariaBar.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:MariaBar.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:01, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
