Montanoceratops
skeletal diagrams with unresolved issues
editHi! I appreciate that you're putting my diagrams on pages, but please wait until issues brought up on the Project Dinosaurs image review page are resolved. Thanks! P2N2222A (talk) 04:43, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi, you removed an illustration of Aristosuchus as being inaccurate, could you point out how so it can be modified? FunkMonk (talk) 19:46, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply! It isn't super inaccurate, however, the neck is slightly shrink-wrapped compared to other Compsognathids with preserved soft tissues. I would also recommend making the thorax of the illustration more robust like the thorax of Sinosauropteryx. Finally, I'd reposition the tail so the bump halfway through the tail gets flattened out, since I doubt the tail could make that posture without breakage. - Should be easy to fix, will have a look tomorrow. I already made the arms stubbier, which seemed the most obvious error (as compsognathids may not even be a natural group, phylogenetic bracketing might have some shortcomings). FunkMonk (talk) 03:05, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- I've added some further tweaks. FunkMonk (talk) 21:45, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
