Advise on "Draft:Blurred Vision Music"

edit

Hello, MoreMusicThan1. As you may be aware, there is a heavy backlog for the Articles for Creation submissions. I am not personally going to review your draft just yet, as it has just been declined. There are many ways it could be improved in order to allow its success as an article in the mainspace.

First of all, it would be great if you would divide the article into sections. The article is long enough for that, and the information can be better organised so that readers may understand different aspects about the article's subject more clearly.

Secondly, the tone of the article should be more encyclopaedic. There are some parts which are a bit advertising, while the entire article is generally not neutral enough. Please remember that Wikipedia is not an advertising site.

Other than that, it seems as though there are many sources to support your article, but those which are just names of newspapers and sites without specifying an exact source have no weight on Wikipedia as legitimate sources. Other than that, some of the more specific sources are not to reliable sources. Also, all of these citations are bare URLs, which may be prone to link rot. See WP:LR and WP:BURL.

I have Google searched Blurred Vision Music, and have found that the band may not have received significant coverage from reliable, independent sources, and thus may not meet relevant notability guidelines, which I encourage you to browse through. However, if you feel like you can use sources to prove otherwise, I sincerely hope that you would improve the article and submit it again and hopefully it would be moved to mainspace successfully.
