Welcome!
Hello, Motorbase, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome!
That said, you might want to think about having a userpage that makes you look like somewhat less of an idiot. DS (talk) 16:39, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
Your user page and edits
editHi Motorbase!
I've removed your "occupation" and "profession" from your user page as some (including me) find it distasteful, divisive and disruptive, and not helpful in building the encyclopedia.
I've also noticed some of your edits are not particularly helpful, as we strive to build a neutral encyclopedia. I ask that before continuing to contribute you read up on our policies, specifically those regarding our neutral point of view, and our biographies of living persons policy.
It's also considered unacceptable to attack other editors as you did here, no matter how helpful or unhelpful they may be.
I ask you to look again at the links I have provided, and if you do wish to continue contributing to Wikipedia, please follow those policies I have pointed you to.
Thanks,
"Inflatable module" listed at Redirects for discussion
editAn editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Inflatable module. Since you had some involvement with the Inflatable module redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. Soumyabrata (talk • subpages) 05:57, 6 February 2020 (UTC)

editWelcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Dinosaur. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use your sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. Kent G. Budge (talk) 04:12, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
- Dinosaurs did evolve into birds, this is a fact. My image just illustrates what happened. I'm not a bible basher btw Motorbase (talk) 19:41, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
