Contributions to Mass Effect 2 article

edit

Hello. Thank you for your help on the Mass Effect 2 page. I just wanted to let you know a few things. First, anyone is allowed to edit any page. Along with that, every single edit to a page is recorded in the edit history, which can be found by clicking the "history" tab at the top of every article. Asking "who keeps editing this page" is redundant, and also does not belong in the actual article. It fits better in the talk page of that article, which can be found by clicking the "discussion" tab at the top of that article. If you want to address someone specifically, you can go to their talk page, which is what I am doing here. Lastly, if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Please do not remove things that are backed up by reliable sources from the article Mass Effect 2. The game has been confirmed for a release between January 2010 and March 2010, which is the fiscal fourth quarter of 2009. We have sources to back this up.Rowdyoctopus (talk) 03:04, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I mean It was just weird how they edited the Marketing section and erased all the information that will occur at GDC?! Cant it just be TBA 2010 if it has already been confirmed for a January to March time frame?!

The GDC information was directly copied and pasted from the IGN article. If it should be included in the article, it needs to be re-worded and summarized. Rowdyoctopus (talk) 06:05, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Surely it's a bit late to help with TOR. It's practically done now by my understanding and BioWare plans the story before the game. While I accept that he's moved to help with TOR, do you have a source for Mac Walters taking over? --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 09:28, 17 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Apologies for my late response as well. I'm afraid your comment got a little buried. I see you've added the source in. Thanks for your help. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 08:57, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
