 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Your edit to Sydney contained a small error

edit

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia! I just reviewed your edit to Sydney: You changed the link to 'Western distributor (Sydney)' by removing the (). The wikipedia article to be linked is Western Distributor (Sydney)? A reader will not see the () unless they click on the blue link. The link is a piped. The link contents before the'|' are the actual name of the article; the words after the '|' compose a reader-friendly phrase. You can see how this works on the blue-link 'pipe' in my message.

Thank you for your contributions. I hope you enjoy being a Wikipedia editor and continue to improve articles. I live very far from Sydney, in the American South, so I enjoy reading about Sydney and Australia. — Neonorange (talk to Phil) (he, they) 22:26, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
